Hi, I'm Selene. I'm a loving wife, doting dog mumma and the dedicated founder of Fluff and Stuff Keepsakes.

I think it's important to know who you will be trusting with your special items, so here's a little more about me...

I have always had a love for teddy bears of all shapes and sizes. As a child, given the choice, I would have chosen a bear over a doll, every time! As I grew, so did my appreciation for the skill and craftsmanship that goes into creating these lovable fury creatures, and soon I had a small but deeply cherished collection of Steiff and Gund bears, each one with it's own special meaning that I hold dear to this day.

In 2015 I was given a 1919 Singer 128k sewing machine - the one with the manual crank handle! - and thats when I had an idea! I was wearing a white dress with small blue bows on it, and it suddenly dawned on me that it would make the perfect fabric for a cute little teddy.

That evening I started creating a template and, a few days - and a couple of tries - later, my first ever fully jointed teddy bear was made; I named him Noodle. After all, all bears need names. I posted a picture of him online and the next thing I knew I had people asking for bears of their own!

During the following few years, inbetween finishing my degree and getting married, I made bears as a passtime for friends, family and acquaintances, all the time deliberating whether to make this little business a larger reality.

Well, the fact you're on this website will tell you that I did. In November 2018 I officially launched Fluff and Stuff Bears, which would later become the Fluff and Stuff Keepsakes that you see today.

I now spend my days cutting, stitching and, to my husband's dismay, clogging the vacuum cleaner with loose threads and trimmings.

I love what I do and I always feel truly honoured when people choose me to transform their special items of clothing into a truly bespoke keepsake. We're growing faster than ever and I feel so lucky to be able to bring such happiness to my customers on a daily basis.

All keepsake items are crafted by me, with the meticulous care and attention to detail they deserve, and given the seal of approval by my husband (the quality department) before being returned safely back to you. My keepsake bears, animals, blankets and cushions hold your memories safe to cherish and love for generations to come, and I really hope you enjoy holding on to them as much as I enjoy making them.
